International Symposium: Antisemitism and Immigration

On 23 April 2018, our Managing Director, Dr Haytham Alhamwi, was invited to attend an international symposium entitled: ‘Antisemitism and Immigration in Western Europe Today: is there a connection?’ held in the Houses of Parliament.
The event was organised by The Pears Institute for the Study of Antisemitism, Birkbeck, University of London in partnership with Foundation ‘Remembrance, Responsibility and Future’ (EVZ), and hosted by the All-Party Parliamentary Group Against Antisemitism and the Antisemitism Policy Trust.
The symposium discussed issues relating to the effect of Middle-Eastern immigration on the rise of antisemitism. The five-nation study reached the conclusion that there is no such connection.
