The New Arab: "Demonstration in London in Commemoration of the Syrian Revolution's 7th Anniversary"

Our Research & Policy Coordinator Bilal Shami gave a statement to the New Arab newspaper (in Arabic) for a story on the demonstration in London that commemorated the Syrian Revolution's 7th Anniversary. Bilal said that such demonstrations is important to show the British public that the Syrian uprising was for freedom and justice and to counter the prevalent narrative in British policymaking that conceives of the situation in Syria from a sole security perspective.
