End Rape in Syria Flashmob

End Rape in Syria Flashmob

This flashmob is dedicated to raising awareness about the increase in cases of rape reported by people in Syria.

#RapeInSyria is used as a weapon of war against women, girls, men and boys by the Assad regime. And while there is a stigma to reporting instances of rape, it is crucial that the world recognizes the issues Syrians, women and men alike, face.

Because of societal norms, victims of #RapeInSyria rarely speak out. We must speak out for them.

According to IRC #RapeInSyria is the primary reason for families fleeing their homes. Men are forced to watch as their wives are raped by Assad thugs. Men and boys deal with #RapeInSyria as well in the #Assad torture centers.
#RapeInSyria does not discriminate.
This is #RapeInSyria.

On March the 23rd, we are standing against #RapeInSyria.
Stand with us and give the victims a voice.
The human narrative is silenced by bombs. Don't let victims of #RapeInSyria be silenced.
