A fundraising event at ASDA Hulme on Saturday 9 March 2013 for Syria Relief registered charity is organised by the British Syrian Community of Manchester.
The event involves, as other charities have done in the past, Syrian and non-Syrian children helping shoppers with their packing at the tills and hoping that shoppers will donate money into designated buckets/baskets. Children will be supervised by adults and each child is expected to help for a maximum of 3 hours and they will be awarded at the end.
We are looking for children, boys and girls, between 10-16 years old to help with the above. We require around 30 children to help with this great event which is hoped to be the start of a series of similar fundraising events at superstores around Manchester. Please help make it a great success!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
If you and your child are happy to help, please bring them to the brief training session which will be held at Didsbury Mosque at 6pm on Saturday the 2nd of March 2013 for half an hour.
If you want to volunteer but can't attend that training session, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can brief you over email and you come a bit early on the day to reassure the main things.
