Scrubbed Up (www.scrubbed-up.com) and Rethink Rebuild Society are extremely excited to announce the launch of a brand new pilot programme: A 6 week course that aims to guide budding doctors through the medical school application process. This project does not only aim at supporting students at this vital stage of life but also at creating a community of students who can help each other, build friendships, and most importantly, succeed!
Topics to be covered in the sessions include the following:
- choosing your university
- interview prep
- life in medical school
- medical hot topics
- personal statements
- preparing for applying
- the NHS
The course will comprise 2-hour sessions for 6 successive weeks? (on Saturdays, 10-12 in the morning, at the Syrian Community Centre, SK4 5HB). The starting date of the course will be shared with the applicants (probably in Ramadan or soon after)
