Rethink Rebuild Society invites you to attend an evening entitled:
The importance of engaging in local democracy and political process in the United Kingdom
We will host two guests both Council Members of Rotherham - Councillors: Dr. Firas Miro, the first municipal council member of Syrian origin, and Ms Taiba Yasseen, the first British Kashmiri Councillor in Rotherham (leading on Health Commission and a local activist).

They will emphasise the importance for new citizens and newly arrived refugees to actively participate and engage in the political process. This involvement ensures their representation and amplifies their voices on both local and global issues of significance.
The seminar will be in Arabic and English, with direct translation of both languages.
