Mental Health Support for Refugees and Asylum Seekers

An interactive workshop to reflect on Yaran's experience, achievements and challenges working therapeutically with refugees and asylum seekers.

This workshop is open to everyone, and you don’t have to be a mental health professional to attend.

The Workshop
An interesting, informative and experiential workshop with Yaran North West, hosted and supported by Rethink Rebuild Society. Many of Yaran’s team of therapists are professionals who have experienced life as a refugee or an asylum seeker themselves, have gone on to retrain or re-qualify as therapists, and rebuild their lives in the UK. Yaran will share some of their challenges and achievements and some in-depth insights from their work. You will also be involved in discussions and experiential exercises to highlight some of the challenges, strengths and sparkly moments of our refugee and asylum seeker communities. Stories are powerful!
