November 2023 marks a decade since Rethink Rebuild Society established the Syrian Community Centre of Manchester. In these 10 years we have helped over 6,000 refugees and asylum seekers in our dedicated support office, organised 5 Celebrating Syria festivals and 9 annual fun days attended by over 15,000 people, and worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between immigrants and British society within a radically changing climate of refugee politics.
This is an opportunity for us to come together, reflect on our achievements, and to express our gratitude to all those who have been a part of this remarkable journey. We promise to continue our mission.
