Once Again!

Over the last three months, we were busy preparing for the second run of our festival 'Celebrating Syria’. After a successful first year, the fantastic festival is back. This year it boasts a wider variety of events. The festival aims to introduce the less-talked-about side of Syria: its rich art and culture.

We have been also focusing on refuting the Russian proposal that Syria is now safe and it can provide a “peaceful life” for refugees, and we continued our work on highlighting the plight of the detainees in Assad’s prisons. Thus, between sadness and hope, we continue our journey.

Best regards,

Haytham Alhamwi
