A New Year, a new spirit!

The past two months have involved increased work for RR on an international scale. We were present in Geneva in the context of the peace negotiations as part of a team of civil society groups to project demands pertaining to civilian protection and political transition. We were also present in Germany to attend a conference hosted by the World Bank on the role of the Syrian diaspora in rebuilding Syria. In the UK, we were proud to launch in February the results of our study on the BBC’s biased media coverage of the situation in Syria. The report was covered by over nine Arab media agencies and found great support among the Syrian community.

Our work is quickly gaining an increased local, national, and international profile, and this is all due to the tireless commitment of our staff as well as the help and support of our community base. We remain committed to involving Syrians in our work and to responding to the needs of our community.

Best regards,

Taha Saadelddin

General Manager
