Featuring speakers from the UK, Morocco, and France, discussions will focus on the repression of individuals and organisations supporting migrants and refugees amidst state-sponsored hostile environments. Activists, volunteers, NGO practitioners, researchers, journalists, and other concerned citizens are welcome to join us in these exchanges.
The event will also feature the exhibition of a series of photographs by Morocco-based photographer Amine Oulmakki (‘Hors-Champ’ – ‘خارج المجال’). There will also be light lunch.
This event is part of a project led by anthropologist Sébastien Bachelet: “Acts/Crimes of solidarity: an ethnographic study of illegalisation and criminalisation amongst pro-migration activists and other citizens”.
